I finally had the opportunity to take some One on One training from Guy Minnis at Hard Target Firearms Training. It was quite enjoyable and very informative. While I was able to get shots on target fairly easily, lots of previous practice, I definitely had some bad habits with both my hand positioning and my holster skills.

He gave me a number of tactics to work on at home and I think that I’ll be able to overcome the negative habits I’ve learned so far. I’m really looking forward to more advanced classes, but the basics that I’m learning now are necessary.

Having an instructor who makes learning fun makes all the difference.
